CUTTING EDGE:

Sarah Soyeon Oh, our Education director and Korean Youth Temperance Council member is representing the WWCTU (World Woman's Christian Temperance Union) as World Education Officer/Ambassador to the United Nations Department of Public Information (DPI) in partnership with the NGO/DPI Executive Committee event titled "Intergenerational Dialogues on the Sustainable Development Goals” at the United Nations Headquarters in New York City on 1 August 2017. International FASD (Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder) Awareness Day
Bells are rung at 9:09 a.m. to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking during
pregnancy and to the plight of individuals and families who struggle with FASD. This day was chosen (9/9/09) so the world will remember that a woman should abstain from alcohol during the nine months of pregnancy.
